Last night we celebrated the season for the u12 girls GREYS & YELLOWS with there presentation night Because we’re absolutely massive we’ve had to split this post in two….here’s the YELLOWS….We do this together every year when 2 teams become one 🩶🧡It’s everything we stand for as a club and it’s always a perfect night for parents and players ! ⚽ Match Report AFC under 7s yellows vs Moss Bank.Details from the matchesGreat effort from the boys today, despite the poor weather conditions, every player worked extremely hard for the team. From the very start to the end the attitude from all the players was excellent. The whole team stayed in shape well, kept composed on and off the ball. Every player was trying to find space for each other, with some great movement and fast attacking football which led to two good goals. You can see all the hard work and effort in training and matches is paying off. 🏅 Parents Player of the Match – Theo Brilliant performance from Theo. From the very first whistle his work rate was excellent and never stopped. He was solid at the back with some great tackles, and long balls up to the forwards. Kept his shape well and stayed composed on the ball. Made some very important tackles for the team. Well deserved parent player of the match. 👏🏆Coaches player of the match - LovelleExcellent game from Lovelle today. Never stopped working tirelessly for the team. Made some fantasic runs with the ball upfront, taking players on which led to his very first goal for team. Keeping up the same work rate thereafter led to another! Great game and well deserved coaches player of the match! 👏⭐ Player Highlights🧤 Jacob Good game from Jacob today. Produced some good saves when called upon. Distributed the ball out well. 🟢 OllieGreat performance from Ollie in midfield. Never stopped working hard for his team. Stayed in position well, making some great challenges. ⭐ Theo parents player of the matchFantastic performance from Theo. Solid defending throughout, making sure he was alwayes in the correct position with some great tackles. 🛡️StanleyVery good performance from Stanley. Kept his position well. Was solid at the back, Producing some very important tackles. 🔥 Spencer Excellent effort from Spencer. Never stopped running up and down the pitch. Supported his teammates well, putting in some great balls up to the forwards. 🔵 NoahSuperb work rate from Noah. Battled well in midfield, with strong tackles. Stayed composed when on the ball. Never stopped closing the ball down and making himself available for his teammates. 🔴 Harry Great performance from Harry. Constantly closing the ball down making it difficult for the other team to play out. Worked hard on and off the ball. ⚽ Jacob C Excellent effort from Jacob. Closed the ball down well from midfield and upfront, making some great tackles. ⚽️ Lovelle coaches player of the matchFantastic performance from Lovelle. Great energy from the start till the end. Making some great attacking runs which led to two good goals. 🗣️ Coaches’ ViewAnother really positive performance from the boys and very similar to last week in terms of the effort, attitude and teamwork on display.The lads worked hard for each other, stayed committed to the way we want to play and showed some really good moments with the ball. We are continuing to see the boys grow in confidence and understanding, and it’s great to see them bringing what we work on in training into match situations.A special mention goes to Lovelle, who scored their first 2 goals for the club today. A fantastic achievement and a moment to be really proud of. The goals were fully deserved and were the reward for all the hard work, effort and determination shown in training and matches. Hopefully they are the first of many more to come! ⚽⚽⚽Another special mention goes to Theo, who was excellent throughout the game. His work rate, commitment and willingness to do the right things for the team were outstanding.
